In the UK, Guardian Glass is continually looking for talented individuals to help us continue our growth and presence in the regional and global market. All UK manufacturing is based at our plant in Goole, East Yorkshire which has recently made significant investment in a new furnace using the latest technology and secures glass manufacture at the site for the next 20 years. The plant, which operates 24/7, can produce some of the most advanced and innovative energy saving architectural glass on the market today.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Multitasking Team. The successful candidate will work closely all areas of the plant on our four on four off shift pattern. This is an exciting opportunity to train and develop in all areas of the operation.
Our Team
Reporting to the Float Line Supervisor you will be part of a multifunctioning team. This is an exciting opportunity to train and develop in all areas of the operation.
What You Will Do
* Act in the safest possible manner and with integrity
* Safely operate production and mobile plant equipment
* Ensure quality compliance against the pre-defined quality specifications
* Identify opportunities to continuously improve the production/process
* Communicate effectively with your leaders and peers

What Will Put You Ahead
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Manual Handling experience
Experience of assessing risk / Hazard spotting
FLT/Crane experience
