Stock Coordinator

Role Purpose

As a key contributor to supply chain operations, this role is responsible for ensuring optimal stock balance within a dual third-party logistics (3PL) model. It involves managing the efficient flow of inventory from both internal and external manufacturing sites and coordinating transfers between the two 3PL providers.

The role ensures that stock coverage is maintained to meet service level targets, including monitoring product quality release timelines. It requires close collaboration with Customer Services and Sales teams to identify and prioritise urgent customer orders.

Additionally, the role actively participates in local Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to communicate and address inventory-related service challenges, ensuring alignment across functions and timely resolution of supply issues.

Your Impact in This Role

As Stock Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of inventory across our supply chain network. Your responsibilities will include:

* Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels across two 3PLs, ensuring availability without overstocking.
* Transport Planning: Work closely with the Logistics team and 3PL partners to ensure correct frequency and volume of movements between 3PLs.
* Supplier Coordination: Work with internal Supply Planning team and Inbound Coordinator to ensure flow of inbound is correctly prioritized.
* Sales & Operations Planning process: Support the UK S&OP process by feeding in key inventory related service challenges.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Logistics, Supply Planning, Customer Services and Sales. Ensure that all stock requirements for promotional activities/additional business opportunities are captured and that inventory is available in 3PLs.

What We're Looking For

* Minimum 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain, ideally within FMCG or pharmaceutical sectors
* Degree (or equivalent experience) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred
* Experince in SAP or similar ERP systems
* Solid understanding of S&OP or Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
* Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

We’re seeking a values-driven and customer-focused professional with strong collaborative leadership skills. You align team goals with business strategy, build trusted cross-functional relationships, and lead change with resilience. Organised and results-oriented, you prioritise effectively, use data to drive decisions, and have a track record of improving performance and delivering meaningful outcomes.
