KEY TASKS & DAILY OPERATIONS
* Curriculum Design & Instruction: Plan, resource, and execute highly structured, evidence-based Art and Design lessons that challenge pupils across diverse media (including drawing, painting, printmaking, and 3D manipulation).
* Studio Workshop Leadership: Maintain a highly disciplined, safe, and inspiring studio environment, ensuring pupils master foundational artistic methodologies, tool safety, and material properties.
* Examination Preparation: Guide Key Stage 4 classes systematically through the demands of terminal GCSE Art and Design specifications, implementing precise portfolio tracking and exam-board assessment criteria.
* Progress Diagnostics: Run regular formative portfolio reviews and summative assessment routines, utilising pupil tracking data to diagnose skill gaps and design sharp, targeted intervention sessions.
* Pastoral Responsibilities: Undertake full form tutor duties, managing morning registration, tracking pupil attendance, and delivering the school's structured personal and social development programmes.
