Job Title: SC Cleared Network Engineer
Job Description
A Security Cleared (SC) Network Engineer is required to support high-profile end customers. The role involves building and testing on Nokia Alcatel devices within a global telecoms environment.
Responsibilities
1. Build and configure Ethernet Wireline (epipe/pseudowire) services across a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
2. Perform transmission testing of newly installed 100Mb, 1Gb, and 10Gb Ethernet access bearers.
3. Provide remote technical support to field engineers with the installation of ADTRAN (ADVA) managed Network Termination Equipment (NTEs).
Essential Skills
4. Strong understanding of Layer 2 networking protocols, including Ethernet, VLAN, MPLS, and Pseudowire.
5. Hands-on experience with Epipe/EWL service configuration.
6. Familiarity with ADTRAN/ADVA NTE devices.
7. Experience with Nokia-Alcatel routers, such as the 7750 and 7450 models.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
8. Good stakeholder management skills.
9. Active SC Clearance is required for this role.
