Overview
Team Leader / Catering Supervisor role with responsibilities across supervision, meal preparation, and service, reporting to the General Manager. This role involves leading a team, ensuring high-quality care or service, and supporting brand and operational goals. Flexible shifts and opportunities to train, develop, and progress within the company.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of care staff or front-of-house team, providing guidance and support.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans for service users (where applicable) or contribute to high-quality customer service and food preparation in a quick-service restaurant setting.
* Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards; train on the woks to assist and supervise back-of-house activities.
* Train and mentor overseas mentee clinicians or staff as appropriate, in a one-to-three mentor-to-mentee ratio for clinical roles; where applicable, supervise on-site operations.
* Liaise with internal management regarding maintenance and operations; ensure smooth shift handovers and coverage.
* Lead by example to deliver exceptional service, food quality, sales, and profitability while prioritizing customer happiness.
Qualifications
* Supervising or management experience in food and beverage roles; experience in residential childcare or care leadership is relevant where applicable.
* Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication, and ability to work under pressure; customer-service focused.
* Proficient in food safety practices and standard kitchen operations; premium cooking or food preparation skills.
* Full UK driving license or ability to travel as required; where relevant, a valid license for transportation of goods or staff.
* Experience as a Team Leader or supervisor with a track record of building teams and driving performance.
* Experience in relevant clinical or care settings is advantageous (if applicable to the role).
