Inspector, Quality
Shift: Night Shift - Monday - Thursday 8.00 pm - 6.30 am.
Location: Belfast
Performs inspection of manufacturing goods & documentation during the manufacturing process. Conduct visual, dimensional and electrical inspection of sub-assemblies or final systems assemblies. Interprets prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards and lists in approving or rejecting in-process or final assemblies.
Under general supervision, the Quality Inspector will perform inspection and testing activities of product in the incoming receipt, manufacture, packaging and /or release of Medical Devices at Stryker, ensuring product quality and throughput goals are met. Ensure compliance to procedures and practices at all times.
What you will do:
Working within the Inspection Team, is responsible for inspection related activities, specific to the sites’ requirements, may include but not limited to the following:
1. Perform dimensional and/or visual inspection to specification using gauges and other reliant inspection equipment.
2. Perform material and component inspections.
3. Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and verify FAI data (incl. statistical analysis) is acceptable.
4. Read and inspect to specifications and/or inspection guide sheets / instructions.
5. Perform Document Review, analyse, inspect and archive DHRs (paper-based and/or electronically) in compliance to GMP/GDP requirements prior to release to finished goods.
6. Perform computer system transactions related to router inspections, etc.
7. Segregate, quarantine and complete documentation for non-conforming materials when necessary.
8. Initiation of quarantine tickets (non-conformance reports)
9. Perform product release disposition tasks in the ERP system
10. Support the achievement of Inspection Teams’ KPI's.
11. Work to forecasts and plans based on Business requirements.
What you will need:
12. 1+ year’s relevant experience in GMP manufacturing environment
13. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
14. Proven self-motivated and able to prioritize and resolve competing priorities.
15. Previous experience working in an electronics environment beneficial
