The Role
A stimulating opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners through:
* Direct, hands-on support for pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
* Assisting with daily activities, bespoke learning and communication programmes
* Collaborating with class teachers, therapists, parents, and external professionals
* Monitoring pupil progress, contributing to assessments and planning personalised interventions
* Ensuring a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience working with children with PMLD or similar complex needs
* Relevant training, such as Makaton, AAC, sensory strategies, or PMLD-specific strategies
* Deep understanding of child development and SEN frameworks
* Strong communication and collaborative skills
* Empathy, patience, and a commitment to inclusive practice
