We are a friendly, forward-thinking primary school located in the heart of Bournemouth, and we are looking for a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team.

About the Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children aged 3–5 as they learn, grow, and develop through play-based activities. You’ll work closely with the class teacher to create a safe, engaging, and inspiring learning environment.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Supporting fun, interactive learning activities linked to the EYFS framework
* Helping children develop early reading, writing, and number skills
* Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
* Supporting children’s social and emotional development
* Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation of resources
* Observing and celebrating children’s progress and achievements
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Warm, patient, and genuinely enjoys working with young children
* Enthusiastic, energetic, and full of creative ideas
* A strong communicator and team player
* Caring and committed to helping every child succeed
* Ideally qualified with a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification (or willing to work towards one)
* Aware of safeguarding responsibilities (training will be provided if needed)
