We have a fleet of 5 vehicles. Here's what you’ll be doing:
Lead the Way — Oversee our transport operation, fostering a high performing culture, and promoting a strong dedication to Health
& Safety practices and compliance.
Empowerment — Lead, develop, and inspire a multiskilled transport team, maintaining a can-do attitude across the team.
Budget Mastery — Take charge of the Transport budget, balancing cost efficiency with top-tier service delivery.
Performance Excellence — Design and deliver clear KPIs that drive productivity and efficiency. Identify opportunities to refine
and improve performance across the team.
Fleet Optimisation — Review fleet requirements proactively to maximise service and effective transport use.
Operational Transformation — Drive change, implement best practices, and ensure consistent, high-quality transport processes.
Compliance Champion — Ensure every driver meets regulations, keeping our operation safe, legal, and reliable.
Incident Management — Manage incidents and accidents from initial reporting to root cause analysis.

Your working pattern:
* Monday to Friday
* 8:00am to 5:30pm
* 60-minute Break
You:
* Experience of performance management and development.
* Basic knowledge of risk assessment/H&S principles.
* Class 2 HGV licence (desirable)
* NEBOSH, IOSH or other safety management qualification (desirable)
* Competent in technology, systems and databases (desirable).
* Experience Supply Chain systems (e.g. Descartes) (desirable).
* Good leadership and organisation skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Comfortable lifting, moving and carrying items up to approx. 25kg
* Able to delegate workload (desirable)
* Reach/Counterbalance FLT Licence (desirable)
