ThePlaceToBe are excited to be working with a unique, community-driven venue in York who are looking for a Head of Venue to take ownership of operations, inspire teams and play a key role in shaping the future of a growing, creative space.
About the role…
As Head of Venue, you’ll be responsible for the overall running of a dynamic, multi-faceted venue, leading from the front to create an environment built on community, creativity and collaboration. This is a highly visible leadership role where you’ll act as the face of the venue, building relationships, maintaining high standards and driving performance across all areas.
There is opportunity to progress into a multi-site Venue Director role as the business continues to grow.
What you’ll be doing day to day…
* Acting as a key figure within the local community, building relationships and representing the brand
* Leading day-to-day operations across the venue, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience
* Managing, developing and motivating teams, creating a positive and high-performing culture
* Driving commercial performance, setting targets and ensuring delivery against key objectives
* Overseeing recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of team members
* Maintaining high operational standards across all areas of the venue
