As a Trainee Debt Adviser, you’ll speak with individuals experiencing financial pressure, assess their situation, and guide them toward the right solution, including IVAs and Debt Management Plans. You’ll receive full training, ongoing support, and a clear progression pathway into senior advisory or case management roles. What You’ll Be Doing Client Conversations * Speaking with clients to understand their financial circumstances, income, expenditure, and creditor details. * Handling sensitive conversations with empathy, clarity, and professionalism. * Explaining IVA and DMP solutions in a compliant, easy‑to‑understand way. Assessment & Case Preparation * Completing fact‑finds and affordability assessments. * Preparing cases for senior advisers or insolvency practitioners. * Ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant. Communication & Administration * Managing inbound and outbound calls. * Updating CRM systems with detailed, accurate notes. * Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth case progression.
