Located in London, in a peaceful and secluded part of Southgate, Priory Hospital North London is set within a striking Grade I listed building, overlooking beautiful parklands.

It's one of the UK’s leading centres for the treatment of a range of mental health difficulties, including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and obsessive‑compulsive disorder (OCD). Since North London first opened its doors in 1986, we have worked tirelessly to establish our excellent reputation as a specialist provider of mental health care.

We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated occupational therapist to join from a small Occupational Therapy team led by a Lead OT within a wider Therapy department.

Responsibilities

* Contribute to safe and effective discharge planning.
* Offer guidance and mentorship to Therapy Assistants to ensure the delivery of consistent and effective patient care.
* Involvement in multidisciplinary team and ward round discussions and meetings.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution and be currently registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). They will have proven experience in a clinical occupational therapy role, ideally within the NHS or a comparable healthcare environment.
