Salary: £70,000 - 85,000 per year Requirements: Advanced SQL development skills with expertise in querying, transformation, and performance optimization (any platform) Experience within financial services, FinTech, insurance, banking, or similar data-heavy environments Proven track record in leading technical delivery or implementation projects Experience supporting or managing small development teams Understanding of the full software development and implementation lifecycle Skills in managing scope, change control, and ensuring quality throughout delivery Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (such as Power BI, SSRS, or equivalent) or low-code configuration tools is a plus, but not essential Responsibilities: Act as the technical lead for a variety of client implementations Shape solution design and ensure strong delivery standards Engage in SQL development and data analysis for complex elements Set technical direction and support developers in their growth Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet high standards Provide guidance during testing phases and help resolve issues Act as an escalation point for technical challenges Technologies: Support Power BI SQL More: We are a long-established and growing technology organization located in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.
