Part-Time Year 6 Teaching Assistant Veritas Education - Primary School Near Lancaster
Veritas Education is working with a welcoming Primary School close to Lancaster that is seeking a part-time Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join their team from April until the end of term. This is an excellent long-term opportunity to support pupils through a key stage in their learning.
Start Date: AprilHours: 08:45 - 12:00, Monday to FridayLocation: Primary School near LancasterYear Group: Year 6Contract: Long-term (through to end of term)About the Role
The successful candidate will work every morning supporting both the class teacher and Year 6 pupils. Responsibilities will include:
* Providing one-to-one support for targeted pupils
* Delivering small group intervention work
* Assisting the teacher with classroom activities and preparation
* Helping to boost pupil confidence and attainment in core subjects
What We're Looking For
* Experience supporting pupils in KS2 (Year 6 experience desirable)
* Strong skills in Maths and English
* A supportive, positive, and proactive attitude
* Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
* Reliability and commitment to the morning schedule
