Specialising in providing an unparalleled range of logistical solutions and delivering over 250,000 parts to garages and repair centres throughout Europe, Alliance Automotive Logistics guarantee that garages and fast-fit centres can repair and maintain their customers vehicles as quickly and efficiently as possible. As a Warehouse Operative at our National Distribution Centre in Rotherham, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment while delivering high standards of accuracy and productivity. Key Responsibilities: Receive, unload, and check incoming goods for quality and quantity Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in line with company procedures Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet trucks and forklifts (training provided if required) Carry out stock checks, cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records Ensure the warehouse is clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety regulations Assist with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles efficiently Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety issues promptly to management Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and safety Essential Skills and Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred but not essential Ability to work physically demanding tasks including lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in order processing Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends if required Basic IT skills for data entry and scanning tasks Working Conditions: Fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment Physically demanding role with manual handling Compliance with safety standards is essential What We Offer: Competitive pay rates and benefits package Training and development opportunities Supportive team environment Opportunities for career progression within the company Not the right fit?
