CIPD Level 5
3-5 years' experience specialising in Employee Relations or within a HR Advisory role with strong ER focus
In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
Proven experience managing complex ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and investigations
Confident communicator who thrives in an employee-facing and advisory role

Ready to join a fast-paced team? Your duties as the Employee Relations Specialist:
Employee Relations – Lead and manage a range of ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, absence management and performance concerns from start to finish.
Advisory Support – Provide expert, practical advice to managers on employment law, policies, and best practice to mitigate risk and ensure consistency.
Case Management – Ensure thorough documentation, accurate record keeping and timely resolution of all ER matters.
Investigations – Conduct fair and detailed workplace investigations, producing comprehensive reports and outcome recommendations.
Performance & Conduct – Support managers in addressing conduct and capability concerns, coaching them through formal processes where required.
Policy & Compliance – Support the review and implementation of HR policies in line with current legislation and organisational needs.
HR Manager Support – Partner closely with the HR Manager on complex or high-risk cases, providing insight and recommendations.
Training & Guidance – Deliver guidance and informal training to managers to build confidence in handling people matters.
Data & Reporting – Monitor ER trends and provide insights to support proactive people management strategies.
Employee Support – Provide clear, professional guidance to employees, ensuring a fair and positive employee experience.
Working hours – Enjoy a day shift
Monday to Friday 08.00 – 17.00 – this is an employee facing role therefore there is a requirement to be onsite up to 4 days per week.
What's in it for you?
Salary: £35,000 - £44,000 dependant on experience.
