We are looking for skilled and dependable HGV Class 1 driver for multiple roles based in and around Reading for PM Shifts.
Requirements:
* Valid UK Driving Licence
* CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
* Digital Tachograph Card
* Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious
* Previous experience driving Class 1 HGVs safely and efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
* Confidently operate Class 1 vehicles.
* Moving Class 1 vehicles in and around the yard, being confident with reversing.
* Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle checks, including tyres, fluids, safety features, and control systems in line with company standards
* Report any maintenance or safety concerns using company documentation
* Adhere to assigned delivery routes and instructions, maintaining communication with dispatch as needed
* Some general warehouse duties when quiet, helping to keep yard tidy.
* Driving vehicles on to MOT Ramp.
* Follow all health and safety procedures without exception
* Potential ongoing position for the right candidate, based on performance and attendance.
Working Patterns:
* Ongoing assignments
* PM Shift- 18:00PM start to 06:00AM finish.
* Should be available to commit to 12 hours shifts.
* Monday to Friday.
Rates of Pay:
* £22.00 per hour dependent on role offered (Inclusive of holiday pay)
