Millfield School is seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Director of Admissions to join the admissions team at Europe's largest boarding school and one of the world's leading coeducational schools.
The Deputy Director will support the strategic and operational leadership of our admissions office across both the Prep and Senior School, managing day-to-day admissions activities, guiding a high-performing team, and ensuring an exceptional experience for prospective families.
You will oversee recruitment pipelines, support admissions events, develop strong relationships with families and feeder schools, and deputise for the Director of Admissions as required, including at events in the UK and overseas.
We are looking for an experienced admissions professional with a proven track record of managing recruitment pipelines and achieving targets. You will be an effective leader who can support and guide the admissions team, while bringing strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with families, colleagues, and external partners. Highly organised and confident with data and systems, you will combine attention to detail with a proactive, solution-focused approach, and be confident representing the school at events in the UK and overseas.
This is a full-time, year-round role (Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm), with occasional Saturday working to support Open Days and events. The salary is up to £55,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.
