Trainee Plant Operator – Power Station
Circa £30,000 - £35,000 + benefits

MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting a Trainee Plant Operator to join a biomass power station near Snetterton in Norfolk. As a Plant Operator you will be responsible for a range of operational activities to ensure the plant hits its production targets in a safe and efficient manner.
Roles and Responsibilities
As the Plant Operator, you will be responsible for:
* Performing plant walk-arounds and inspections, ensuring optimum performance of machinery
* Assisting with plant shutdowns and preventative maintenance
* Training up on the DCS (Distributed Control System)
* Operating a range of mobile plant including FLTs, excavators etc
* Undertaking training on the operation systems and operator duties
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly plant condition
* Performing these duties on a day's/night's shift pattern basis
* Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
1. Production/operations or maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment: food, manufacturing, chemical etc etc. (Military Engineers are also encouraged to apply from the Navy, RAF or Army)
