We are looking for a Power Platform Developer to join our well established Tech team in Manchester. As a Power Platform Developer, you will drive the transition to low-code development, using the Microsoft Power Platform to deliver scalable, efficient, and user-friendly business applications. You will design and build solutions using Canvas apps, Model-driven apps, and Power Automate, helping teams streamline workflows, improve data visibility, and reduce manual effort. You will help establish and maintain a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Power Platform, promote best practices, reusable components, and citizen development. You will also be responsible for platform governance using the Power Platform Admin Centre, ensuring secure, compliant and well-managed environments. Your work will directly support strategic goals by accelerating solution delivery, improving operational efficiency, and enabling users to build their own tools within a governed framework.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design, development, and deployment of solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
* Drive AI automation strategies, integrate advanced models, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver innovative, scalable, and secure applications.
* Guide technical teams, shape data models and workflows, manage project timelines, and align solutions with business goals.
* Contribute to development standards, participate in governance processes, and stay current with emerging Microsoft and AI technologies to continually enhance system performance and functionality.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to promote best practices and governance in a Power Platform Centre of Excellence environment.
Qualifications
* Proven experience with Canvas apps, Model-driven apps, and Power Automate.
* Experience in setting up and governing a Centre of Excellence for Power Platform.
* Basic experience developing and integrating with API web services.
* Proficiency in using the Power Platform Admin Centre for environment and user management.
* Strong understanding of Dataverse, security roles, and solution management.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience with Power BI, AI Builder, or Power Virtual Agents.
* Knowledge of Azure services and integration with Power Platform.
* Experience in the legal industry, particularly consumer law is a plus.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
