Job Description:
About the Role
As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering hands-on configuration and solution expertise across multiple Finance sub-modules. You will collaborate with Finance stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver best-practice SAP solutions that support statutory compliance, enable process efficiency, and integrate seamlessly with Procurement, Sales, Projects, and HR/Payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct workshops with Finance stakeholders to capture requirements and map them into SAP S/4HANA
2. Configure SAP Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting
3. Support design of financial close, reporting, and reconciliations.
4. Ensure integration of Finance with MM (P2P), SD (OTC), PS (Projects), and HCM (Payroll)
5. Develop functional specifications for WRICEF objects (reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows)
6. Support Finance data migration (open items, balances, assets) and reconciliations through mock cycles
7. Participate in SIT, UAT, regression testing, and cutover rehearsals
8. Provide post-go-live support and knowledge transfer to Finance users
9. Contribute to project documentation including process maps, test scripts, and training material
Experience & Skills Required
10. Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking)
11. Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, tax configuration, and statutory compliance
12. Familiarity with Financial Close processes, reconciliations, and reporting
13. Integration awareness across Procurement, Sales, Payroll, and Projects
14. Ability to produce blueprint documentation, functional specs, and testing artefacts
15. Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills

16. SAP S/4HANA Finance (1909 or later)
17. SAP Fiori apps for Finance processes
18. SAP Activate methodology
19. Change/test management tools (Solution Manager, JIRA, qTest)
20. SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting (advantageous)
Qualifications
21. Degree in Finance, Accounting, or IT
22. SAP Certification in S/4HANA Financial Accounting desirable
23. Professional accounting credentials (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) advantageous

24. Strong communication and presentation skills with Finance stakeholders
25. Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with problem-solving skills
26. Ability to explain Finance processes in business terms to non-technical users
27. Collaborative and proactive, comfortable working in a global consulting environment
