Retail Tutor – GLA Contract Location: London / Field-Based Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum Pathway Group is on a mission to Change Lives Through Skills and Work. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Tutor to deliver engaging, high-quality training to adult learners who want to gain skills and progress into sustainable employment within the retail sector. About the role You’ll design and deliver creative, learner-focused sessions at Level 1 and Level 2 that equip learners with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills they need to thrive in retail roles. Working within the GLA contract, you’ll play a key role in supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds to achieve qualifications and progress into work. What you’ll do: * Deliver accredited and non-accredited retail training both in person and online. * Inspire, support, and motivate learners to achieve their goals. * Identify learner needs and set SMART targets to drive progress. * Maintain accurate learner records and meet all GLA compliance requirements. * Promote employability and career progression opportunities within the retail sector. * Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure high-quality learner outcomes. * Contribute to continuous improvement and curriculum development. What you’ll bring: * Experience in retail, customer service, or sales. * Background in teaching or training within employability or vocational settings. * Strong communication, organisational, and digital skills. * Ability to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment. * A teaching or assessing qualification (desirable but not essential). * Commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding.
