Job Title: E-Commerce Studio Manager

Salary: Up to £49,000
We’re partnering with a leading retail brand to find an experienced and driven E-Commerce Studio Manager to join their North East operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the visual direction of a high-performing E-Commerce photography studio.
As part of the studio leadership team, you’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving efficiency, and ensuring consistently high standards of visual content. You’ll work cross-functionally with creative, production, and buying teams to ensure content aligns with brand identity and delivers an exceptional online shopping experience.
This role would suit a natural leader with a passion for operational excellence, team development, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced digital content environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the smooth running of daily studio operations, ensuring content production meets business goals.
* Drive key performance metrics including time-to-site, cost-per-style, and image quality.
* Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflow and boost efficiency.
* Manage a multidisciplinary studio team covering stock control, styling, modelling, and photography.
* Take full ownership of the studio budget and ensure cost-effective operations.
* Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality, brand-aligned visual content.
* Prioritise content production in line with commercial objectives and product launch timelines.
* Uphold quality control standards across all visual assets.
* Refine creative approaches to styling and photography to enhance customer engagement.
* Build and lead a high-performing team, encouraging a culture of accountability and innovation.
* Set performance objectives and conduct regular reviews to drive team growth.
What We’re Looking For:
* 5+ years’ experience in a similar E-Commerce studio management role, ideally in a multi-brand setting.
* Demonstrated success in leading high-volume content production environments.
* Strong understanding of process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) and studio workflow tools.
* Proficient in budget management, performance tracking, and data-led decision-making.
* Familiarity with CMS, DAM systems, and reporting tools such as Excel or Google Analytics.
* A strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a track record of developing talent.
