Job Description
As the Senior Accountant (French Speaking) based in Kingsbury NW9, you will be responsible forKey Responsibilities
3. Manage French general accounting and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data
4. Prepare and reconcile VAT returns
5. Calculate corporate tax (IS), CVAE, and monitor tax compliance
6. Manage and account for fixed assets
7. Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure correct group mapping
8. Process accounting transactions and supplier invoices:Receive, verify, and record supplier invoices in YoozCode invoices in line with the company's accounting framework
9. Manage payments:Monitor validation workflows in YoozPrepare and execute supplier paymentsMaintain relationships with suppliers
10. Perform bank postings and reconciliations
11. Monitor accounts:Create and manage auxiliary accountsReconcile supplier ledgersPrepare monthly account statementsEnsure consistency between sub-ledgers and general ledger
12. Expense management:Administer and monitor the Expensya systemControl and track reimbursements
13. Prepare monthly, semi-annual, and annual closings (cut-off: accruals, prepayments, provisions, etc.)
14. Contribute to internal and external audits
15. Ensure internal control and compliance with accounting policies and procedures
16. Ensure compliance with tax and legal regulations
17. Participate in company and group cross-functional projects related to systems and process improvements
18. Reporting through Tagetik
19. Monitor intercompany operations
The Successful Applicant
20. This role involves travel to France once a month for the first 5 months
21. French Speaker
22. Experienced Accountant, with broad accounting skills
23. Qualified Accountant, CIMA, ACCA, ACA
24. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
25. Willingness to optimize processes and working environment
26. Strong Excel and Systems skills
