Whatyou'll do
As a Data Modeller,you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high qualitybusiness solutions. You’ll be performing data extraction, storage,manipulation, processing and analysis, alongside developing andperforming standard queries to ensure data quality and identifydata inconsistencies and missingdata.
Day-to-day, you’ll alsobe:
* Collecting,profiling and mapping appropriate data to use in new or existingsolutions as well as for ongoing dataactivities
* Identifying and documenting datamigration paths and processes, standardising data naming, datadefinitions and modelling
* Interpreting customerneeds and turning them into functional or data requirements andprocess models
* Creating and executing testscenarios and test scripts at various stages of the project inorder to validate the solutiondesign
* Facilitate user acceptance testing andsupport business users in executing the user acceptancetesting
* Building and maintainingcollaborative partnerships with key businessstakeholders
Theskills you'll need
We’relooking for someone with experience of using data analysis toolsand delivering data modelling in a technology or IT function withinfinancial services. Ideally, you'll bring experience of working inFinance or Risk domains.
We’llalso look for:
* Anin-depth understanding of the interrelationships of data andmultiple data domains
* A background indelivering research based on qualitative and quantitative dataacross a range of subjects
* Ananalytical mindset, with strong organisational skills and theability to prioritise yourwork
* Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
