The General Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily operations in a busy distribution centre, with full P&L responsibility.
My client are an industry-leading 3PL business with great progression and development plans in place for employees of all levels.
The key responsibilities for the role of General Manager based in Sheffield will be:
* Manage and oversee all warehousing and distribution operations across a large headcount site of over 300 people.
* Oversee all aspects of H&S, driving a safety-focused culture.
* Be customer-facing, communicating directly and dealing with any customer issues/enquiries.
* Have full P&L responsibility, ensuring SLAs are met within budget.
* Drive efficiency and productivity across the site, seeking out continiuous improvements.
* Provide line management and assist in the progression of the management team on site.
The successful candidate for the role of General Manager based in Sheffield will have:
* Previous experience in a General Manager role.
* A strong background in warehousing/logistics.
* Previous experience working within a 3PL environment, ideally with multiple contracts on site.
* Experience managing a site's P&L.
* Great people management skills.
* Great customer service skills.
The successful candidate for the role of General Manager based in Sheffield will receive:
