Key Accountabilities
* Reporting to Brownfield Team Associate/Technical Director
* Basic understanding of geological, geotechnical, and brownfield risks
* Delivery of projects: basic financial and project management awareness (understanding project finances and working to a budget)
* Supervise ground investigations and undertake remediation and earthworks validation works
* Undertake soil sampling and ground gas / groundwater monitoring
* Prepare Phase 1 & 2 reports
* Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other project/business stakeholders
* Provide technical and operational support to the wider Ayesa business including Brownfield North and South Teams
Requirements
* BSc and/or MSc in Geology / Engineering Geology / Geotechnical Engineering / Hydrogeology / Environmental Sciences
* Relevant experience up to 2 years, recent graduates also considered
* Awareness of UK standards and regulations
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Keen to learn and improve technical and report‑writing skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with senior management and clients
* Basic technical understanding of brownfield engineering and contaminated land
* Ability to understand complex problems and communicate solutions to clients and agencies
* Excellent time and organisational skills, able to meet deadlines and budgets
