We’re on the lookout for a Senior Chef de Partie to support the day-to-day running of our kitchen.

What does the role involve?
We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual who will contribute to our Kitchen team and uphold our commitment to quality food preparation and service.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in ensuring the quality, consistency and production of areas of responsibility in the kitchen.
Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality and training any Demi-Chef de Parties or Commis Chefs working with you.
Helping the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop new dishes and menus.
Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and complying with the legal requirements of health and safety.
Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
To be responsible that deliveries from stores or from or to outlets are properly checked with an emphasis on quality, quantity and food safety.
Supervising the work of Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants.
Producing consistent, high quality plates of food. Keeping the kitchen clean and hygienically safe.
Assisting the Head Chef with weekly stock takes and stock rotation.
What skills and experience do you need?
Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen with a strong culinary background (at least 2 years’ experience).
Culinary certificate or diploma desirable.
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
Food safety/hygiene certification desirable.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, while also possessing strong leadership skills.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
