The IT Graduate Role
This is an office-based position where you'll be responsible for providing hands-on IT support across the company. While you'll take ownership of supporting the internal IT systems, you won't be on your own as you'll be working alongside a supportive team and have access to external IT partners for more complex issues.
Key duties include:
* Being the first point of contact for any IT-related issues across the business
* Setting up and maintaining company laptops, desktops, printers, and other devices
* Installing and updating software, and keeping systems running smoothly
* Supporting and helping manage the company's main business system (ERP)
* Setting up new starters with appropriate equipment and access
* Working with third-party suppliers when external IT support is required
* Assisting teams across the business with any tech-related needs
* Keeping basic IT documentation up to date
The Ideal IT Technician Candidate
This role would suit someone who is eager to learn and has a genuine interest in IT. You should be comfortable working with others, solving problems, and communicating clearly with different teams. A positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks are key.
Some knowledge of IT systems would be helpful, and any relevant studies or certifications in areas such as computer science, networking, or Microsoft technologies will be a bonus.
