Our Health in Justice service line is now expanding into non-Custodial healthcare, a person-centred approach delivered via a solid and consolidated infrastructure aimed to assess individuals’ mental health and neurodiversity requirements, to redirect them to the most appropriate channel. We have an exciting opportunity for a Crown Court Practitioner to join our team in North Yorkshire. Hours Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week between 8am and 5pm Salary This position is full time and you will receive a salary of £49,848 to £55,996 depending on experience How will we support you? What you'll be doing As a Crown Court Practitioner you will: assess the need of service users who come into contact with the criminal justice system and are appearing at the local Crown Court support vulnerable service users to access mainstream services and voluntary groups to improve their health outcomes, making onward referrals to appropriate local services and encouraging engagement support the service user through the court process, providing advice and information to support onward decision making of those working within the court system coach and develop staff from clinical and non-clinical backgrounds around your areas of speciali deliver workshops to develop the team’s learning in various areas such as court processes, documentation & stakeholder processes work in partnership with the Head of Service and Clinical Lead to identify and mitigate clinical risk related to your area of work (risk register, incident reporting, quality assurance, service audits) support the process of patient concerns, attend, contribute and progress actions from partnership meetings, and to ensure that protocols and standards are adhered to. We will treat individuals more holistically, focusing on the person and early intervention strategies to reduce risks and improve outcomes.
