Knowsley Council is seeking compassionate and dedicated Family Time Support Workers to facilitate supervised contact sessions between children and their families. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a vital team within Children’s Services, ensuring that children in care experience meaningful, safe, and consistent time with their families. Key Responsibilities Facilitate and supervise contact between children and their families in a safe, neutral environment. Promote positive, nurturing experiences during family time. Observe and assess family interactions, recording observations objectively and accurately. Liaise with social workers and professionals to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children. Support children before, during, and after contact sessions, with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing.
