Business Support Officer – Full time / Permanent
Salary: £37,509 per annum rising in annual increments to £38,637 per annum (including London Weighting).

About the Team
The Corporate Parenting Service team comprises five members who support the Children Looked After and 16+ Service areas. You will work directly with the 16+ service (care leavers) and will attend the office at least two days a week or as requested. Flexibility, a positive attitude, and adaptability to service needs are essential.
About the Role
* Provide comprehensive business support services, including mailbox management, minute taking, finance processing, data input, storage and archiving, managing trackers, and caseload management.
* Maintain IT systems (local and corporate), spreadsheets, databases, and Power BI outputs (e.g., reports).
* Update individual records to ensure data for statutory returns and local datasets is accurate and up to date.
* Work flexibly across the service to provide proactive support to service users.
* Manage a demanding workload and assist the Business Support Team Leader to meet objectives and regulatory requirements.
* Ensure professional delivery of established business processes such as database management to support the organisation.
* Collaborate with colleagues and team leaders to identify areas for improvement and maintain a relevant support offer for all service users.
* Embrace new technology to support service users and align with Lambeth’s ways of working.
* Prioritise work methodically to meet deadlines and use innovative thinking to improve service delivery.
* In emergencies, be prepared to shift from BAU to support the arising situation.
* Undertake other duties appropriate to the post as required.
