As a Capture Artist you'll be entrusted with the task of capturing footage to be utilised internally and externally, for marketing assets in advertisements and on social media platforms.With a solid grasp of film composition and language, combined with a genuine passion for gaming, you'll delve into various game genres, mastering the tools necessary for capturing pivotal gameplay moments.Responsibilities:- Assist in sourcing in-game assets.- Capture both video and still images from a diverse array of games.- Follow direction from the creative lead and producer to capture essential sequences for editing.- Collaborate with the in-house video team to create both internal and external gameplay content.- Identify opportunities and offer suggestions for showcasing shots/features (if necessary).- Problem-solve to achieve optimal results while navigating the challenges of unfinished technology.- Archive, organize, log, and manage captured assets effectively.Key Requirements:- Interest in working within the gaming industry or playing computer games.- Detail-oriented with keen observational skills.- Proactive and capable of taking ownership of assigned tasks.- Proficient in current-generation video game consoles.- Flexible and team-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team, even under high-pressure situations.Beneficial (but not required):- Experience in cinematography.- Background in Film, Art, Design, or related disciplines.- Familiarity with Premiere Pro.- Knowledge of Unity.We're seeking an individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and can deliver under tight deadlines.If you're driven by a passion for gaming, possess a creative eye, and have the knack for capturing breathtaking gameplay moments, we invite you to apply for this thrilling opportunity with our fantastic world-renowned client.This position is considered Junior - Mid-level, but you must have had experience in a similar role previously in order to be considered.This position does not offer sponsorship or remote-working.Please get in touch with Tegan Parsons if this position sounds of interest.
