Within the Salford Quays Finance Service Centre, we are moving beyond a shared service centre; we play a critical part in the M&S One Finance Team' and are heading towards our ambition to become a centre of excellence - there's never been a better time to be part of our team!
You'll be leading the Corporate Support teams within Record to Report where you will engage with key partners up to Finance Director level, communicating with and influencing senior business partners on outputs and results.

What youll do
Your key accountabilities will include
* Leadership of all reporting and requirements for the Retail, Property and Group R2R finance functions.
* Providing Technical expertise to Commercial finance teams and ensuring timely delivery of Statutory Accounts for subsidiary company entities
* Responsible for leading the Intercompany processes, coordinating with other Group entities to ensure timely and accurate accounts.
* Delivery of balance sheet reconciliations within group close timetable to high standard on a monthly basis
* Responsible for IFRS lease accounting for Property
* Lead the team to support the business transformation with the delivery and execution of key projects using standard processes and automation.

* Strong Technical and advisory capabilities, comfortable with principles and concepts of Group accounting under IFRS
