The opportunity
We are hiring for 2 Experience Designer/Facilitator roles to join our EY wavespace team, based in Canary Wharf, London. Candidates should ideally have between 3-15 years of experience.
Design and deliver high‑impact wavespace experiences that enable our key Financial Services clients to align, decide and act on their most critical business challenges. You will combine design thinking, systems thinking, behavioural science and collaboration technology to create environments and experiences that unlock new possibilities and momentum, for our clients and EY.
Key responsibilities
1. Design & facilitation: Create, project manage, and lead immersive workshops across virtual, in‑person and hybrid formats, using human‑centred design.
2. Client engagement: Work with senior stakeholders to clarify objectives, shape agendas and translate strategy into actionable outcomes.
3. End‑to‑end delivery: Own planning, logistics and risk/issue management; ensure high‑quality outputs and clear follow‑through.
4. Methods & technology: Leverage collaboration tools and AI‑enabled methods to drive engagement, synthesis, collaboration, outputs and lasting outcomes.
5. Commercials & governance: Manage scope, resourcing and budgets; uphold EY quality, risk and independence standards.
6. Team leadership: Coach, mentor and develop colleagues; foster an inclusive, high‑energy environment.

7. Leading day‑to‑day design and delivery for experiences; coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams.
8. Building trusted relationships with client managers and directors; drive satisfaction and repeat demand.
9. Modeling best‑practice facilitation, preparation and documentation.
10. Serving as the primary contact to executive stakeholders; shape multi‑session journeys and transformation roadmaps.
11. Originating opportunities in collaboration with account teams; oversee budgets/forecasts across a portfolio.
12. Setting facilitation standards, mentoring managers and representing wavespace in the market.
Skills & experience
13. Proven track record designing and facilitating complex workshops with senior audiences.
14. Fluency in design‑thinking methods; strong storytelling, systems thinking and visual communication.
15. Confidence with physical and digital collaboration tools and methods, and comfort experimenting with AI‑enabled ways of working.
16. Excellent project leadership and stakeholder management; able to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities.
17. Clear, compelling communication and presence; able to create psychological safety and productive challenge.
18. Sector experience in Financial Services is advantageous (role works extensively with FS clients).

Location: London (Canary Wharf) / UK hybrid — travel as required. We have a flexible working approach, however you should be prepared to deliver face to face experiences in our Canary Wharf wavespace at short notice.
Grade: Senior to Senior Manager (banding aligned to experience).
Employment: 6-12 month Fixed Term Contract, full‑time.
