Job Description
The Accounts Payable Clerk will;
* Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
* Verify and reconcile discrepancies in financial records.
* Maintain accurate accounts payable ledgers and files.
* Prepare payment runs and monitor outstanding balances.
* Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable.
* Support the accounting team with ad-hoc financial tasks as needed.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
* Experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
* Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and organisational abilities.
* A sound understanding of financial principles and practices.
