SCGMS is a values-driven healthcare organisation committed to delivering exceptional care and support across our services. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join us at head office on a part-time basis (2-3 days per week).

The Role
As CFO, you will work closely with the senior leadership team to shape SCGMS's financial strategy and ensure we continue to operate efficiently, compliantly, and sustainably. You'll be instrumental in driving financial performance and supporting informed decision-making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the financial strategy and planning for SCGMS
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
* Manage cash flow, funding, and cost control
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory financial requirements (e.g. CQC, HMRC, Charity Commission if applicable)
* Work closely with external accountants, auditors, and funding partners
* Provide financial insights to support service delivery and organisational growth
* Support the leadership team with commercial decisions, contract reviews, and risk management
* Oversee and support the finance function and its continuous improvement

About You
You will bring:
* Proven experience as a CFO or Finance Director, ideally within the healthcare or not-for-profit sector
* Strong working knowledge of financial regulations relevant to health and care providers
* Strategic mindset with a practical, hands-on approach
* Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification (or equivalent)
Experience within regulated health or social care settings is highly desirable.
