Customer Support Specialist (Paediatric Trauma and Deformity Business)

Responsible to: Managing Director

Responsible for: The post has no line management responsibility


Principal Contacts

* Internal: Managing Director, all other company staff including clients of Osteoplus Ltd as required.
* External: Customers, potential customers, suppliers, contractors.


Environment

The post is based at the company offices in Unit 1b Century Park Swansea. The role may include occasional travel to other premises for meetings and/or training purposes.


Job Purpose

To provide a range of professional and administrative services to ensure the smooth running and professional standards of OsteoPlus Limited and its back-office functions for Managed Services Clients. This list is not exhaustive and covers the general responsibilities.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

* Maintain an electronic database containing all relevant customer details.
* Conduct telephone contact with customers or identify the appropriate individual within the company/hospital for liaison.
* Keep records of prospective new clients, contact details, and outcomes of initial discussions.
* Make contact with individual customers and/or responsible persons within each hospital account.
* Maintain and develop ongoing relationships with major customers and key personnel of OsteoPlus clients.
* Pick, pack, and ship orders to customers.
* Manage stock receipt and delivery arrangements.
* Undertake any required training.
* Perform other duties as reasonably required.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email is essential.

OsteoPlus Ltd: Manufactures general and bespoke surgical instruments, patient-matched implants, guides, and models for surgery, including veterinary implants. All work is subcontracted; company is ISO13485:2016 certified.

EliteMediserv (Division of OsteoPlus Ltd): Provides managed services to medical device companies, including customer service, accounting, warehousing, shipping, and logistics. Also ISO13485:2016 certified. Clients operate in diagnostics, orthopaedics, pediatrics, PPE, and surgery.
