We're looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Brand Manager to lead our much-loved Spreads & Drizzles portfolio working with brands like Harley's, SunPat – home to iconic household brands found in kitchen cupboards and fridges across the UK.
This 12-month cover role is critical in driving strategic growth through compelling brand positioning, breakthrough innovation, and consumer-led campaigns. You'll bring a mix of strategic thinking, creativity, commercial awareness, and leadership, all grounded in consumer insight.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the development of a 3–5-year strategic plan for the Spreads & Drizzles portfolio.
2. Monitor brand and portfolio performance using continuous data sources (Kantar, Circana, etc.), driving insights and course corrections as needed.
3. Own the UK innovation pipeline—from white space identification to launch—delivering profitable, consumer-centric NPD.
4. Apply Agile Test & Learn principles to pilot innovations quickly and gather feedback at pace.
5. Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, NPD, Sales, Category, Trade Marketing and Communications teams to bring the brand vision to life.
6. Define and execute compelling launch and communication plans, ensuring internal and external buy-in.
7. Represent the voice of the consumer across the business, identifying trends and insights that shape growth opportunities.
8. Act as a strong people manager, coaching and developing a direct report (Marketing Executive).
9. Champion Hain’s values, setting a high-performance climate and demonstrating strong leadership.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
10. A track record of brand strategy and innovation leadership, ideally in FMCG.
11. Experience managing a consumer-facing portfolio and leading cross-functional teams.
12. Excellent project and stakeholder management skills.
13. A keen understanding of consumer behaviour and category trends.
14. Strong communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.
15. Resilience, creativity, and agility to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
