An exciting opportunity to join the Technical Services department at Glenside campus, UWE.
Technical Services support the School of Health and Social Wellbeing. This practical, student-facing role involves supporting and delivering clinical skills practical sessions, mandatory training, and simulation activities. You will report to the Technical Manager and collaborate with technical and academic colleagues to facilitate learning, plan lessons, investigate and purchase equipment and simulation aids, and assist with stock control and equipment maintenance.
The role primarily supports Nursing (all fields), Midwifery, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Radiography, Physicians Associates, and Paramedic Science students.

About You
You are a registered healthcare professional with excellent clinical skills, up-to-date knowledge, and recent clinical experience. You are a team player, a clear communicator, and passionate about practical teaching. You have experience mentoring students, learners, or colleagues, and enjoy working creatively with others to enhance the learning experience.
Location
This role is based at Glenside Campus, located in Stapleton, just three miles northeast of Bristol City Centre.

This is a full-time, fixed-term role for 12 months, working 37 hours per week. The role is campus-based, with occasional work from home upon prior approval. Salary offers will be based on skills and experience, in line with university guidelines. We cannot sponsor visas; candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
