A bit about what you will do...
Finance Assistants in our team play a crucial role in ensuring we process the cluster financial transactions accurately and timely, helping the hotel achieve optimum performance and meet credit targets.
* Support Finance Supervisor with daily tasks including accounts payable and receivable, and expense management.
* Conduct daily payment reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
* Ensure invoices are correct and sent out promptly.
* Monitor credit limits for all outstanding accounts.
* Ensure timely collections of outstanding payments.
* Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
* Maintain accuracy and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
* Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills with a high standard of written and spoken English.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Most of all, you have an approachable, positive, and proactive manner.
* Experience in a similar role within a 4-star hotel is a significant advantage.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required.
