Main Accountabilities:
1. Site planning: Plans on-site project activities related to the assigned discipline with Site Manager or Site Construction Manager, including necessary local resources, equipment, and milestones. Coordinates agreement between customer and external resources on installation/construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization, and policy.
2. Site coordination and monitoring: Responsible for coordinating all on-site activities related to the assigned discipline, from receiving the site area to handover, ensuring successful execution of start-up, installation/construction, erection, testing, and commissioning activities in line with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
3. Stakeholder relations: Acts as a project representative, building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and other local organizations.
4. Health, safety, and environment (HSE) and project security: Ensures a detailed and up-to-date construction H&S plan is in place for each work package, compliant with company policies. Promotes health and safety awareness among on-site resources and can suspend activities if HSE violations occur, taking necessary actions to mitigate risks.
5. Equipment handling and logistics: Ensures correct handling, storage, and installation of delivered equipment, coordinating on-site storage and shipment logistics to ensure timely delivery.
6. Sub-contractors management: Manages sub-contractors hired by ABB to ensure quality and progress meet standards and delivery deadlines.
7. Site cost management: Monitors project site costs, manages petty cash, and has delegated authority for local purchasing within limits.
8. Documentation: Ensures all project documentation is updated, maintained, and used correctly for construction activities.
9. People leadership and development: Organizes, staffs, and guides the team, ensuring proper skills and motivation. Coordinates local facilities and resources.
Summary: Supervises a team in executing tasks within an assigned area, ensuring effective work coordination and performance reviews.
We seek candidates with several years of experience as a Site Supervisor, with strong background in Site Management, HSE, Environment, Quality Assurance & Control, Installation Works, and basic knowledge of Commissioning and Civil Works.
