Animal Management Lecturer
Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for an Animal Management Lecturer to join our Berkshire College of Agriculture team on a full‑time basis. This is a fixed‑term role working from May 2026 until 30 June 2027.
The role pays from T1 £31,633 up to T11 £45,341 dependent on experience and qualifications.
The successful applicant will possess the ability to deliver a diverse range of practical and theoretical subjects, including animal behaviour, biology, health, feeding, and accommodation, across both L2 and L3 provisions. You will have experience teaching and assessing with various awarding bodies such as BTEC and City and Guilds and will engage a broad range of learners. Creativity and inclusivity are crucial. The role requires supporting students through tutorship and a commitment to their journey.
Qualifications: Ideally hold a degree in a relevant subject area and have demonstrable experience working with animals in industry. A teaching qualification is preferred; qualifications in assessing learning and internal verification are advantageous.
