£12.60 per hour
24 hours per week – 4 day rolling rota – Days, including some weekends
6 month fixed term contract

Role
* Ensure the health, wellbeing, and safety of our residents
* Prepare nutritious, home‑cooked meals throughout the day
* Help maintain the high standards Abbeyfield is known for
* Foster a friendly, supportive, and comfortable living environment
What We Need From You
* Experience supporting older people in a similar setting, with a good understanding of their needs
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and lead the team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with residents and colleagues
* Confidence using written communication, numbers, and basic computer systems to a good standard
* Willingness to travel to other locations for training or meetings when required
* Ability to prepare nutritious, varied meals that meet residents’ dietary needs, tastes, and preferences
* Confidence to take responsibility for daily meal preparation, purchasing ingredients, and working to a set budget
