We are looking for Senior Product Manager to help us to shape, steer and delivery on our cloud-based data strategy, leading the design and development of our next generation platforms.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
* A good understanding of modern data architectures e.g. Data Warehouses and Data Lakehouse, and an understanding of ETL/ELT processes.
* Experience of leading technical and non-technical stakeholder engagement to represent the user in all product and prioritisation decision making.
* Experience of working in an agile team with a focus on iterative engineering development.
* Strong communication skills for engaging with customers, engineering, stakeholders and senior executives.
* Proven ability to coach and develop multidisciplinary teams, manage performance, and build a collaborative high performing environment aligned with organisational goals.
You and your role
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager who can make a big difference in DWP.
We're looking for someone with experience of getting results from product teams for a large and complex organisation, major programme or core service.
You will be leading a team of digital professionals, setting direction and enabling the creation of products that meet user needs and DWP's strategic aims. You'll have a deep knowledge of product management techniques.
Here you'll be developing product strategy and meaningful, value-driven roadmaps that guide your teams and your stakeholders.
The choices we make and the work we do become the experience of millions of users, often a key times in their lives. We're looking for people with experience of using customer insight and a commitment to User Centred Design to develop digital services.
And you need to be a leader. You'll provide leadership and direction to the product team, working with Product Managers to shape the vision, scope and high-level roadmap for critical products and services.

Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.
Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and sometime collaborating face to face in a hub.
Pay: We offer pay of up to £77,740
Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%.
Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days and rising to 31 days over time.
You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
