Working Hours: Monday to Friday (flexible days available)
Location: Bexley, South-East London
Primary schools across Bexley are seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to join their supply teams from January 2026. This role offers the opportunity to work on a day-to-day, short-term or long-term basis, supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in a variety of local primary schools.
This position is ideal for Teaching Assistants who value flexibility, want to maintain a healthy work–life balance, and enjoy working in different school environments.
About the Role: Teaching Assistant
1. Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
2. Work 1:1, in small groups or provide general classroom support
3. Assist the class teacher with behaviour management and classroom routines
4. Support pupils with additional needs when required
5. Help create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment
6. Follow school safeguarding, behaviour and inclusion policies
The Ideal Candidate
7. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred
8. A minimum of 6 months’ experience working in a UK primary school is essential
9. SEN experience is desirable but not essential
10. Confident with behaviour management and classroom support
11. Reliable, professional and punctual
12. Adaptable and able to work across different year groups
13. Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
