We are looking for an experienced Night Receptionist/ Porter to join our team at Hope Street Hotel.
Situated in the thriving Georgian quarter of Liverpool, we are a privately owned, award winning hotel with a 2 AA Rosette restaurant, The London Carriage Works. A recent expansion has taken the hotel to 151 bedrooms and suites (Best UK City Hotel – the Sunday Times 2020) extensive luxury spa, a second hotel restaurant and eight first-class private dining, conference and events spaces including a cinema.
You as Night Receptionist/Porter
The Night Receptionist/Porter will assist the night manager with any tasks and duties throughout the night shift including:
* General housekeeping duties of all public areas.
* Assisting with 24 hour room service menu.
* Late hotel arrivals or early check ins.
* Making note of any complaints or issues and reporting back to the night manager.
* Ensure corridors are kept clear of any trays.
* Assist with health and safety duties throughout the hotel including security walks.
Your Skills and Experience as Night Receptionist/Porter
* Confident, self-motivated, team worker.
* Positive, can-do attitude, service with a smile.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Capable of prioritising workload, delegation of tasks, and able to work in a tidy and organised manner.
The position requires the holder to work consistently with the nights team to raise standards and maintain customer satisfaction. A passion for customer service is essential to ensure that every guest and visitor receives a personal service that is consistent and in line with Hope Street Hotel's standards.
