Hours per week: 4 hours per week. Outside of school hours in term time (ideally saturdays). Days and time flexible during the school holidays. Please apply with your availability.
Hourly pay rate: £12.21 per hour. Mileage expenses: 45p per mile
About the candidate
We’re looking for a calm, happy, and hands‑on Personal Assistant to support a wonderful 12‑year‑old boy with Autism who’s full of curiosity and joy. He’s all about baking, walks, sensory play, swimming (anything with water!), and finding fun in the little things. When he’s excited, he might flap his hands or bounce with joy — and you’ll love seeing his happiness shine!
Responsibilities
* Join him on outdoor adventures — parks, picnics, and swims!
* Keep him safe, confident, and comfortable in new experiences
* Help him stay focused and happy through play, creativity, and connection
* Eating and drinking assistance
* Other relevant duties as required
* Transportation
* Dressing / undressing
* Bathroom assistance
* Help with accessing and participating in social and leisure activities, going to parks, cafés, picnics, swimming, leisure centres.

Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
