Job Description
The key responsibilities for the role of Finance Assistant (HYBRID WORKING) include:
* Accurately process purchase invoices, employee expenses, and assist with maintaining up-to-date financial records
* Support daily bank reconciliations and monitor incoming and outgoing payments
* Assist with month-end tasks such as basic journal entries and preparing supporting documentation
* Help resolve finance-related queries from suppliers and internal teams in a timely and professional manner
* Provide general administrative support to the finance team, including data entry, filing, and ad hoc reporting tasks
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for the role of Finance Assistant (HYBRID WORKING) will have:
* At least 6 months of experience working in a finance or accounts-based role
* Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a strong interest in developing a finance career
* Confident using Excel and familiar with basic accounting processes; experience with finance systems is advantageous
* Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to take on a variety of tasks to support the wider finance function
