Senior Principal Hardware Engineer – Contract Location: Rochester | Duration: 12 Months Rate: £69.72/hr (PAYE) | On-site: 5 days (WFH Fridays, business dependent) Clearance: BPSS required | SC in progress Join a cutting-edge aerospace team working on safety-critical systems like Helmet Displays, Mission Computers, Flight Controls. Lead hardware design from concept to delivery, provide technical leadership, and mentor junior engineers. What youll do: Lead hardware design (digital/analogue) for mission-critical systems Provide technical leadership and collaborate across teams Ensure delivery within cost, schedule, and quality constraints What were looking for: Electronics engineering experience, with safety-critical systems Full lifecycle experience (concept to certification) Power supply experience is a plus Tools: Mentor Graphics, SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, DOORS Qualification: Degree in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent) Clearance: BPSS required as a minimum
